Before Lite n’ Easy I was full of excuses as to why I couldn’t lose weight – too busy, too tired, it was always in the too hard basket. Then finally I decided to give it a try.
I started running but I couldn’t run more than 100 metres to begin with. I realised I would also need to change my diet in order to lose weight and that is where Lite n’ Easy came in.
I never ate particularly unhealthy, but being on Lite n’ Easy showed me how much I had been overeating. The meal plan provided me with the correct portion sizes and without Lite n’ Easy I would still be wondering why I wasn’t getting anywhere.
The healthy balance of foods provided by Lite n’ Easy gave me such a boost in energy which allowed me to increase my cardio and strength training levels and make substantial gains in my fitness. Not to mention the meals taste delicious!
I never had a “goal weight” per se and I refrained from weighing myself throughout my journey as I wanted my progress to be about how I felt rather than a number on the scale. Within about 6 months I felt healthy, strong and confident about my body.
When I did finally weigh myself, I had lost 14 kilos and this was an added bonus. Now I can run almost 10km and I feel the healthiest I have ever been.
