Stephanie begins her amazing new life

Looking at this vibrant, young, healthy woman, it is hard to believe that less than 2 years ago she was on medication for depression and was a virtual recluse. Or that she weighed 38 kilos more than she does now.

So how did this amazing transformation begin?

“I remember I was on a trip, visiting friends in Hawaii. I had a little girl come up to me, pat my belly, and ask if there was a baby in there. That was my moment of right; I’m 24 years old – It’s time to change something. These are supposed to be the best years, apparently. I should look my best too.”

Stephanie’s doctor had long been suggesting she try to eat better and start exercising to lose some weight and improve her outlook.  “I had tried lots of other diets programs and fads but they always failed.  Then I chose Lite n’ Easy because it was realistic, and it taught me the lessons I needed to learn about eating healthy, the types of foods, portions sizes, etc.

“The first week on Lite n’ Easy, I was pleasantly surprised, because everything was awesome.  There is such a huge variety and everything tastes so great, and you can even choose. That surprised me.

“I slowly started exercising again and I was losing the weight quite quickly.  My doctor was so shocked with all the changes, he suggested we could start to reduce my medication. I had been on antidepressants for about four years and I think it was about March last year that my doctor said, finally, you don’t need to be on them anymore.

“I can’t explain how amazing that felt.  It was a seriously huge moment. Now I have lost 38 kilos, I weigh 60 kilos and it took about 12 months all up.

As a single person it’s the last thing I want to stress about.  I want to be out there having fun, go to the gym, hang out with my friends and SHOP!  To literally be able to walk into a shop and pick up a size 8, size 10 off the rack, when you love to shop, it’s an amazing feeling.
