At my heaviest I weighed 137 kilos. I suffer from polycystic ovarian syndrome which makes it extremely difficult to fall pregnant. I desperately want to be a mother one day and after seeing an IVF specialist I was advised to lose weight to even out my hormone levels and increase my chances. That’s when I decided I needed to change my life and get myself healthy again.

At first I thought I could do it on my own, so I started off exercising three times a week and eating more healthily but there was not much change. I tried lots of different diets, looking for a quick fix but nothing worked long term.

I’m self employed and don’t get a lot of free time to cook, so I decided to give Lite n’ Easy a go, starting off on the 1800 Calorie Meal Plan. I couldn’t believe how much food there was and how delicious and filling it was. I was never left hungry.

I started losing weight consistently and then gradually increased my exercise levels as I felt better. I dropped down to the 1500 Calorie Meal Plan and then recently to the 1200 Calorie Meal Plan which is more than enough food. I now have the energy to exercise daily and really enjoy the gym and going for a run, something I never dreamed of before.

After 2 years I have lost 60 kilos and have exceeded all of my original goals, so I am setting new ones. I cannot believe how far I have come. My life circumstances have changed and I’ve decided to put trying for a family on hold and continue focusing on myself for now.

Without Lite n’ Easy and regular exercise I would never be where I am today and for that, I am forever thankful.
