Antoinette takes a fresh approach to family meal times
Life is much calmer these days for Antoinette since she and Cory, her shift-working husband started Lite n’ Easy. “Before we got onto Lite n’ Easy, the “witching hour” in our house was always stressful. With Cory at work, trying to prepare dinner and get our two girls fed and ready for bed was hard work.
“Plus, I would always be thinking about meal planning for the week, having the right foods for myself and the children, lunches for Cory, etc. Then I would have to shop and cook it all while the girls just wanted my attention.”
It was Antoinette’s nanna, Patricia now in her 80s who first tried Lite n’ Easy. “I find it very convenient being on my own and not having to shop or cook for one. Oh and I do enjoy the meals, they are marvelous! My family likes to know I always have good food at hand” Patricia says.
Antoinette’s father Richard also used Lite n’ Easy to shed 14.2 kilos.
“Nanna would sometimes give my girls her Lite n’ Easy ‘Mini Meals’ and they absolutely loved them. In fact, if I make fried rice they won’t eat it, but they love Lite n’ Easy’s Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken!
“We tasted the food ourselves and thought it was just beautiful, so we started ordering it as well. Cory wouldn’t eat it if he wasn’t happy with the flavour, plus the dinner portions are surprisingly big. I was expecting a “diet size” meal but they really are a good dinner plate size, which keeps you quite satisfied.
“Now Cory just grabs his own Lite n’ Easy lunch ever day, so I know he is sorted. At night we just choose which meal we want, have it going in the microwave while bathing the kids, then there is nothing else to do but eat it!
“Having one less thing to worry about is a great thing for our family.”
